Traffic was backed up for about two hours Sunday night on I-40 eastbound just past the Peavine Road exit. A tractor-trailer jackknifed which caused a ruptured fuel cell. Traffic was rerouted off the interstate at Peavine Road to high 70E. Snow and ice were blamed on the truck accident as there were several minor wrecks reported throughtout the afternoon and evening. No injuries were reported.
