THE DIFFERENCE A DEGREE OR TWO CAN MAKE IN SNOW FORECAST

While attempting to be as accurate as possible in predicting the snowfall we are all anticipating, the National Weather Service has been actively discussing how the elevation and temperature can affect snowfall amounts.  It is currently 33 degrees and raining in Crossville, while on top of Renegade Mountain in Crab Orchard, the temperature is 32 degrees and there are about five inches of snow.
