“I’m not going to tolerate people doing drugs in White County,” Those are the words of White County Sheriff Steve Page after his department along with Sparta Police took down seven suspects in a drug bust this week. It was dubbed OPERATION DUAL which stands for Drug Use And Lose.
Page said the work isn’t done, however, and that there are more pickup indictments to serve and arrests pending.
“The manufacturing and sale of drugs will not be tolerated in this county, and those who choose to participate in these activities will not be tolerated. They will be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law,” Page said, giving a stern warning. “Drug dealers, beware. We are coming to get you. We will take you off of our streets. We will not stop in our efforts to put an end to the drug problem in this county.”
