FATAL VEHICLE ACCIDENT REPORTED ON MILLER BYPASS IN CROSSVILLE

(4:45 a.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2021) – There a single vehicle accident on Miller Bypass in Crossville between Weigels and Cumberland County High School. The driver left the road and struck a utility pole. Use caution in this area.

(UPDATE) – 5:05 a.m. – This crash now involves a fatality. A full report of the accident will be released once next of kin has been notified. 

(UPDATE) – 5:30 a.m. central – The section of Miller Bypass between Sparta Drive and 10th Street in Crossville will be temporarily closed as officers investigate the crash. Avoid this area for now and seek an alternative route.

(UPDATE) – 6:30 a.m. central – Section of road remains closed. It should be re-opened soon.
