Police in Crossville charged 40-year-old Tony Rasso, listed as homeless, with a recent theft incident at Walmart. The report states he selected various grocery items, a computer monitor and merchandise from the hardware department and went to a self-checkout. Rasso scanned the selections totaling near $600 but grabbed a receipt left behind by another shopper and left the store without actually paying. In reviewing video footage yesterday, Officer Crystal Massey was able to identify Rasso as the suspect involved. He was served the warrant in jail as he was incarcerated on another offense.
