Cumberland County deputies and medics responded to a vehicle accident yesterday on the 300 block of P.O.W. Camp Road. A Ford Taurus driven by 29-year-old Kasie Nicole Richardson of Crossville left the roadway and struck a power pole. The report states Richardson voluntarily admitted to using meth and heroin within 24 hours before accident. Officers allegedly found an uncapped hypodermic needing with brown residue on the passenger floor board. Richardson was arrested for DUI, possession of a Schedule II drug and drug paraphernalia.
