HOME DESTROYED BY FIRE ON KANSAS LANE

Oliver Springs firefighters responded to a structure blaze on Kansas Lane in the Kellytown community late this morning. They arrived to find the home heavily involved in flames. No one was inside at the time of fire and no injuries were reported. An explosion took place and was from an oxygen cylinder inside at the time of the incident. A cause is being determined. The Marlow Volunteer Fire Department, Oak Ridge Fire Department, Oliver Springs Police Department, and Anderson County Emergency Medical Services all assisted at the scene.
