The Tennessee Highway Patrol sent out preliminary information around noon today of a school bus crash late yesterday in Rhea County on Highway 68 in Spring City. First report indicates a 2002 school bus operated by 65-year-old Scott I. Wilson of Spring City was making a left turn and failed to yield the right of way to a Ford Expedition driven by 52-year-old Timothy M. White of Athens, Tennessee resulting in a collision. The impact sent the bus into a GMC pickup operated by 52-year-old Preston A. Holloway of Grandview. The only injuries noted in the first report included White and a passenger in his vehicle, Rachel V. Heath. The incident remains under investigation.
