The Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate a fatal vehicle accident in Roane County. According to the follow-up report released today, the crash took place earlier this month on State Highway 322 when a motorist in a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser heading north suddenly left the road and struck a tree. The automobile rolled over on its side and caught fire. The Regional Forensic Center is currently trying to collect information to identify the sole occupant. Once the highway patrol gets confirmation of who the driver is, it will be released.
