FENTRESS COUNTY AUTHORITIES ASKING FOR PUBLIC’S HELP IN SHOOTING INVESTIGATION

The Fentress County Sheriff’s Office and the TBI continue to investigate a shooting that took place late last month in the Pine Haven community. A motorist on Highway 127 was wounded in the altercation. Anyone who may have video at their business or residence that would have caught images of the incident is asked to call Detective Sgt. Jason Duncan at the sheriff’s department at (931) 879-8142. The area in question is Pickett Park Highway from Wildwood Grocery to White Oak Road, White Oak Road to 127 bypass and the bypass north to the intersection of North York Highway from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2020.
