Several vehicle accidents took place in Cumberland County on icy and snow covered roads over the Christmas holiday weekend. Fortunately no serious injuries were initially reported. In one crash, deputies responded to the 4,000 block of Deep Draw Road Saturday afternoon where a 2015 Chevy Cruz driven by 23-year-old Laura Napier of Crossville lost traction on the asphalt on patches of ice and snow and hit the side of a bridge and guard rail. Napier was restrained and was not hurt.
