The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency has closed the Cumberland Mountain School Youth Impact Center located off of Old Jamestown Highway in Crossville. The facility dates back to 1919 when it served educational needs and closed in 1938. UCHRA opened it back in 2009 as a home for troubled teens. Over the years, Crossville police responded to the location several times for runaway juveniles. The home will now merged with the Indian Mound Farm in Dekalb County.
