Jerrie Lynn Cobb, age 49, of Crossville, passed away November 26, 2020. She was born on January 2, 1971 to Larry Flake and Lynda Williams Abston in Jacksonville, Florida.
Jerrie was a devoted wife, momma, NeNe, teacher, and friend. He love and compassion overflowed. This was especially true with her career in early education. For 27 years, her natural ability to teach and care reached the hearts and minds of many children. But this didn’t stop in the classroom. It extended to families, her coworkers, friends, and to the community. In Jerrie’s eyes, all of these were treasured and loved as family. Her hard work and focused energy was spent making the world a better place. Her inner light was a beacon for her family, natural and adopted, and this light will continue to shine in our hearts because of the beautiful years we were blessed to have her. Her days were spent enriching everyone who came in contact with her. From a day of spoiling her grandkids, having family time, or teaching in her classroom, no matter where she was, Jerrie shared the most true and pure love and care.
