The McMinn County School System says two schools will be temporarily closed out of an abundance of caution because of a significant rise in the number of COVID-19 cases. Students will not report to Niota Elementary School and McMinn County High School today and tomorrow (November 12 and 13, 2020) in order to allow for a thorough cleaning of the buildings. All other schools in the county will remain open at this time.
