Cumberland County law enforcement engaged a motorcyclist in a chase yesterday afternoon. While on patrol, authorities allegedly observed 38-year-old Jason Thomas Hyder of Crossville traveling too fast for conditions. Hyder turned onto Browns Creek Road and passed a woman and two juveniles riding bicycles at a high rate of speed. Hyder stopped soon after and was arrested for reckless endangerment and evading arrest.
