TRACTOR-TRAILER ACCIDENT IN WESTERN CUMBERLAND COUNTY RESULTS IN INJURIES

A tractor-trailer accident early yesterday morning on I-40 in western Cumberland County jammed traffic at the scene for hours. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a 2018 Freightliner operated by 22-year-old Joe Marmolejo of Fountain, Colorado was traveling west at the 305 mile marker when he left the road and the vehicle rolled over onto the driver’s side in a group of small trees. The driver and a passenger, 27-year-old Adam Marmolejo of Pueblo, Colorado, sustained injuries and went to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment.
