A vehicle accident on I-40 in Cumberland County early yesterday resulted in injuries. Trooper William Morgan says a 2019 Volvo tractor-trailer operated by 58-year-old David Clutter from Shawnee, Oklahoma was traveling west at the 337 mile marker when he went off the road and struck several trees before coming to rest in the median. Clutter and a passenger, 61-year-old Larry Treat, were both transported to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment.
