A two vehicle accident took place on I-40 at the 357 eastbound mile marker in Roane County yesterday afternoon. Troopers say a Ford Ranger operated by 87-year-old Donald Morris of Lenoir City started to slow down for heavy traffic and was hit in the rear by a Buick Enclave driven by 80-year-old Glenn Wyatt of Crossville. The Ford went into the median and rolled onto its top. Morris was hurt in the crash. Wyatt and a passenger in his car, 80-year-old Juanita Wyatt, escaped injuries. All three were restrained at the time of impact.
