Comments are Off

Multiple fire agencies in Roane County responded to a blaze at a salvage yard and a barn just off of Highway 58 south of Kingston on Walnut Grove Road. Crews arrived to see heavy smoke and fire complicated by explosions of possible propane tanks on scene. No one was present when the blaze broke out and there were no injuries. Water was sprayed on homes very close to the fire to protect them. Crews remained at the site for around three hours and an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause.
