The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is looking into accusations of misconduct at the Fentress County Sheriff’s Department. At the request of the district attorney general, agents are focusing on an alleged misuse of a county fuel card and a deputy’s service weapon missing. No further information was released by the TBI. This is going on as a lawsuit is pending against the sheriff’s office stating deputies and a Jamestown police officer supposedly forced women to strip on the side of highway during a search after being pulled over.
