The following is from today’s Tennessee Department of Health COVID-19 report:

TENNESSEE – 17,852 active cases (up 1,005 cases from yesterday) in Tennessee out of 192,995 total cases (up 2,104 cases since yesterday)

  • 175,143 recovered (up 1,099 from yesterday)
  • 2,377 died (up 3 from yesterday)
  • 728 had to be hospitalized (down 12 since yesterday)
  • 2,825,374 tested (up 42,530 since yesterday)

(Deaths in counties are added to the recovered then that total is subtracted from the total cases to get an accurate number of remaining active cases)

ANDERSON – 127 active remaining cases (up 13 case from yesterday) out of 1,200 total cases (up 21 cases from yesterday), 13 fatalities, 25,185 negative tests

BLEDSOE – 21 active remaining cases (up 5 cases from yesterday) out of 862 total cases (up 8 cases from yesterday), 4 fatalities, 7,597 negative tests

CUMBERLAND – 113 active remaining cases (up 11 cases from yesterday) out of 1,217 total cases (up 16 cases from yesterday), 18 fatalities, 22,241 negative tests

FENTRESS – 142 remaining active cases (up 11 cases from yesterday) out of 526 total cases (up 21 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 3,894 negative tests

KNOX – 906 remaining active cases (up 9 cases from yesterday) out of 9,497 total cases (up 119 cases from yesterday), 79 fatalities, 128,067 negative tests

LOUDON – 120 remaining active cases (up 7 cases from yesterday) out of 1,184 total cases (up 12 cases from yesterday), 6 fatalities, 12,790 negative tests

MCMINN – 132 remaining active cases (up 9 cases from yesterday) out of 1,146 total cases (up 27 cases from yesterday), 25 fatalities, 16,473 negative tests

MEIGS – 13 remaining active cases (same as yesterday) out of 228 total cases (up 2 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 3,031 negative tests

MORGAN –  28 remaining active cases (same as yesterday) out of 320 total cases (up 3 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 8,127 negative tests

OVERTON – 124 remaining active cases (up 10 cases from yesterday) out of 758 total cases (up 13 cases from yesterday), 6 fatalities, 7,077 negative tests

PICKETT – 31 active cases (up 5 cases from yesterday) out of 123 total cases (up 7 cases from yesterday), 2 fatalities, 978 negative tests

PUTNAM – 493 remaining active cases (up 6 cases from yesterday) out of 3,349 total cases (up 34 cases from yesterday), 40 fatalities, 29,397 negative tests
