The following is from today’s Tennessee Department of Health COVID-19 report:

TENNESSEE – 17,060 active cases (DOWN 310 cases from yesterday) in Tennessee out of 186,709 total cases (up 1,561 cases since yesterday)

  • 169,649 recovered (up 1,871 from yesterday)
  • 2,275 died (up 14 from yesterday)
  • 779 had to be hospitalized (up 13 since yesterday)
  • 2,706,717 tested (up 21,702 since yesterday)

(Deaths in counties are added to the recovered then that total is subtracted from the total cases to get an accurate number of remaining active cases)

ANDERSON – 129 active remaining cases (up 2 cases from yesterday) out of 1,153 total cases (up 15 cases from yesterday), 11 fatalities, 24,157 negative tests

BLEDSOE – 22 active remaining cases (down 2 cases from yesterday) out of 848 total cases (up 3 cases from yesterday), 4 fatalities, 7,393 negative tests

CUMBERLAND – 115 active remaining cases (down 8 cases from yesterday) out of 1,169 total cases (up 14 cases from yesterday), 18 fatalities, 21,253 negative tests

FENTRESS – 113 remaining active cases (down 3 cases from yesterday) out of 462 total cases (up 15 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 3,694 negative tests

KNOX – 1,177 remaining active cases (down 161 cases from yesterday) out of 9,115 total cases (up 63 cases from yesterday), 75 fatalities, 121,967 negative tests

LOUDON – 101 remaining active cases (same as yesterday) out of 1,131 total cases (up 10 cases from yesterday), 6 fatalities, 12,202 negative tests

MCMINN – 134 remaining active cases (up 2 cases from yesterday) out of 1,094 total cases (up 18 cases from yesterday), 24 fatalities, 15,651 negative tests

MEIGS – 22 remaining active cases (down 3 cases from yesterday) out of 221 total cases (same as yesterday), 3 fatalities, 2,890 negative tests

MORGAN –  29 remaining active cases (up 3 cases from yesterday) out of 310 total cases (up 4 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 7,874 negative tests

OVERTON – 127 remaining active cases (up 13 cases from yesterday) out of 708 total cases (up 27 cases from yesterday), 5 fatalities, 6,645 negative tests

PICKETT – 19 active cases (up 3 cases from yesterday) out of 107 total cases (up 2 cases from yesterday), 2 fatalities, 931 negative tests
