Upon arrival, two deputies walked down the driveway towards the home and noticed the front door open. The door appeared to have been forced open. The deputy entered the residence and found Lewis on the floor of the kitchen with a gunshot wound to the upper left portion of the chest. No other people or weapons were found in the home.
