The following is from today’s Tennessee Department of Health COVID-19 report:

TENNESSEE – 17,735 active cases (up 65 cases from yesterday) in Tennessee out of 184,409 total cases (up 895 cases since yesterday)

  • 166,674 recovered (up 830 from yesterday)
  • 2,233 died (up 15 from yesterday)
  • 693 had to be hospitalized (down 51 since yesterday)
  • 2,673,187 tested (up 12,181 since yesterday)

(Deaths in counties are added to the recovered then that total is subtracted from the total cases to get an accurate number of remaining active cases)

ANDERSON – 131 active remaining cases (up 4 cases from yesterday) out of 1,133 total cases (up 10 cases from yesterday), 11 fatalities, 23,874 negative tests

BLEDSOE – 26 active remaining cases (down 3 cases from yesterday) out of 845 total cases (down 1 case from yesterday), 4 fatalities, 7,343 negative tests

CUMBERLAND – 127 active remaining cases (down 2 cases from yesterday) out of 1,153 total cases (up 1 case from yesterday), 17 fatalities, 21,019 negative tests

FENTRESS – 109 remaining active cases (up 1 case from yesterday) out of 436 total cases (up 4 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 3,649 negative tests

KNOX – 1,140 remaining active cases (down 12 cases from yesterday) out of 8,998 total cases (up 75 cases from yesterday), 72 fatalities, 120,331 negative tests

LOUDON – 98 remaining active cases (down 4 cases from yesterday) out of 1,115 total cases (up 3 cases from yesterday), 6 fatalities, 11,987 negative tests

MCMINN – 137 remaining active cases (down 9 cases from yesterday) out of 1,068 total cases (up 5 cases from yesterday), 24 fatalities, 15,404 negative tests

MEIGS – 27 remaining active cases (down 4 case from yesterday) out of 221 total cases (up 1 case from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 2,838 negative tests

MORGAN –  28 remaining active cases (down 1 case from yesterday) out of 305 total cases (up 1 case from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 7,804 negative tests

OVERTON – 117 remaining active cases (down 2 cases from yesterday) out of 680 total cases (up 2 cases from yesterday), 5 fatalities, 6,577 negative tests

PICKETT – 14 active cases (up 2 cases from yesterday) out of 98 total cases (up 2 cases from yesterday), 2 fatalities, 917 negative tests
