The following is from today’s Tennessee Department of Health COVID-19 report:

TENNESSEE – 16,433 active cases (DOWN 452 cases from yesterday) in Tennessee out of 178,140 total cases (up 1,053 cases since yesterday)

  • 161,707 recovered (up 1,505 from yesterday)
  • 2,164 died (up 13 from yesterday)
  • 823 had to be hospitalized (up 9 since yesterday)
  • 2,559,192 tested (up 21,469 since yesterday)

(Deaths in counties are added to the recovered then that total is subtracted from the total cases to get an accurate number of remaining active cases)

ANDERSON – 101 active remaining cases (down 2 cases from yesterday) out of 1,072 total cases (up 9 cases from yesterday), 11 fatalities, 23,114 negative tests

BLEDSOE – 33 active remaining cases (same as yesterday) out of 838 total cases (up 1 case from yesterday), 4 fatalities, 7,156 negative tests

CUMBERLAND – 113 active remaining cases (down 5 cases from yesterday) out of 1,112 total cases (up 12 cases from yesterday), 16 fatalities, 20,204 negative tests

FENTRESS – 86 remaining active cases (up 3 cases from yesterday) out of 382 total cases (up 11 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 3,493 negative tests

KNOX – 1,137 remaining active cases (down 65 cases from yesterday) out of 8,577 total cases (up 93 cases from yesterday), 68 fatalities, 116,035 negative tests

LOUDON – 85 remaining active cases (down 15 cases from yesterday) out of 1,074 total cases (up 3 cases from yesterday), 6 fatalities, 11,512 negative tests

MCMINN – 120 remaining active cases (up 2 cases from yesterday) out of 1,007 total cases (up 13 cases from yesterday), 24 fatalities, 14,649 negative tests

MEIGS – 30 remaining active cases (down 3 cases from yesterday) out of 208 total cases (same as yesterday), 3 fatalities, 2,709 negative tests

MORGAN –  22 remaining active cases (down 4 cases from yesterday) out of 293 total cases (up 4 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 7,533 negative tests

OVERTON – 118 remaining active cases (up 4 cases from yesterday) out of 658 total cases (up 11 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 6,299 negative tests

PICKETT – 12 active cases (same as yesterday) out of 92 total cases (same as yesterday), 2 fatalities, 886 negative tests

PUTNAM – 448 remaining active cases (up 30 cases from yesterday) out of 2,925 total cases (up 62 cases from yesterday), 36 fatalities, 26,617 negative tests

RHEA – 60 remaining active cases (down 1 case from yesterday) out of 754 total case (up 3 cases from yesterday), 11 fatalities, 9,645 negative tests
