Cumberland County authorities responded to a home on the 2,000 block of Mayland Road yesterday to take a multiple missing person report. It stated 66-year-old Michael L. Kerley, 69-year-old John E. Kerley and 50-year-old Stacy D. Beasley left the residence on ATV’s heading toward Calfkiller Mountain. They departed September 14 and someone in the dwelling received a text message from one of them saying ‘lost in woods” late that night. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office conducted a phone ping that came back near England’s Cove and activated their aviation unit to start searching. Last night, two of the three were located and the third was found safe today (September 16, 2020) at approximately 2:45 p.m. by a Tennessee Highway Patrol helicopter pilot.
