The following is from today’s Tennessee Department of Health COVID-19 report:

TENNESSEE – 16,571 active cases (down 895 cases from yesterday) in Tennessee out of 175,231 total cases (up 957 cases since yesterday)

  • 158,660 recovered (up 1,852 from yesterday)
  • 2,127 died (up 30 from yesterday)
  • 762 had to be hospitalized (up 35 since yesterday)
  • 2,510,091 tested (up 22,384 since yesterday)

(Deaths in counties are added to the recovered then that total is subtracted from the total cases to get an accurate number of remaining active cases)

ANDERSON – 97 active remaining cases (down 3 cases from yesterday) out of 1,042 total cases (up 7 cases from yesterday), 11 fatalities, 22,455 negative tests

BLEDSOE – 30 active remaining cases (down 3 cases from yesterday) out of 832 total cases (up 1 case from yesterday), 4 fatalities, 7,076 negative tests

CUMBERLAND – 129 active remaining cases (down 20 cases from yesterday) out of 1,071 total cases (up 1 case from yesterday), 15 fatalities, 19,813 negative tests

FENTRESS – 78 remaining active cases (down 13 cases from yesterday) out of 354 total cases (up 6 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 3,420 negative tests

KNOX – 1,239 remaining active cases (down 78 cases from yesterday) out of 8,351 total cases (up 75 cases from yesterday), 67 fatalities, 113,229 negative tests

LOUDON – 92 remaining active cases (down 6 cases from yesterday) out of 1,054 total cases (up 5 cases from yesterday), 6 fatalities, 11,154 negative tests

MCMINN – 102 remaining active cases (down 1 case from yesterday) out of 962 total cases (up 8 cases from yesterday), 24 fatalities, 14,427 negative tests

MEIGS – 33 remaining active cases (down 1 case from yesterday) out of 207 total cases (up 3 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 2,658 negative tests

MORGAN –  25 remaining active cases (down 6 cases from yesterday) out of 282 total cases (same as yesterday), 2 fatalities, 7,448 negative tests

OVERTON – 93 remaining active cases (down 8 cases from yesterday) out of 612 total cases (up 5 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 6,108 negative tests

PICKETT – 15 active cases (down 2 cases from yesterday) out of 90 total cases (up 1 case from yesterday), 2 fatalities, 874 negative tests

PUTNAM – 358 remaining active cases (down 29 cases from yesterday) out of 2,765 total cases (up 24 cases from yesterday), 36 fatalities, 25,845 negative tests
