ROCKWOOD POLICE OFFICERS GET ELDERLY COUPLE OUT OF HOUSE FIRE SAFELY

Rockwood firefighters responded to a residence blaze on the 700 block of Clymersville Road owned by Sam Hammond this morning. Police arrived first and got an elderly couple out of the home. A cause of the fire was not initially revealed. The American Red Cross was called in to assist the couple with temporary living arrangements.
