VEHICLE VERSUS DEER ACCIDENT ON I-40 IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY RESULTS IN INJURIES

Medical crews responded to a single vehicle accident early Saturday night in Cumberland County. A 2017 BMW driven by 57-year-old Richard Gorski of Fort Mill, South Carolina was traveling westbound at the 313 mile marker when he struck a deer. The driver and a passenger in the car, 41-year-old Joanna Gorski, were both transported by ambulance to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of suspected serious injuries.
