The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recently bid out a multimillion-dollar project for improving the Jamestown Municipal Airport. The work includes redoing the runway and making the taxiways longer. Crews will also clear trees near the south end of the runway. Funding came by way of a FAA Airport Improvement Program. The work is presently ongoing and should be completed late this year or early next year weather permitting.
