The following is from today’s Tennessee Department of Health COVID-19 report:

TENNESSEE – 38,657 (UP 499 cases from yesterday) active cases in Tennessee out of 142,083 total cases (UP 1,239 cases since yesterday)

  • 103,426 recovered (up 740 since yesterday)
  • 1,563 died (up 14 from yesterday)
  • 6,328 had to be hospitalized (up 73 since yesterday)
  • 2,004,861 tested (up 26,452 since yesterday)

(Deaths in counties are added to the recovered then that total is subtracted from the total cases to get an accurate number of remaining active cases)

ANDERSON – 226 active remaining cases (up 6 cases from yesterday) out of 828 total cases (up 12 cases from yesterday), 8 fatalities, 17,917 negative tests

BLEDSOE – 85 active remaining cases (up 2 cases from yesterday) of 763 total cases (up 3 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 5,333 negative tests

CUMBERLAND – 314 active remaining cases (up 17 cases from yesterday) out of 688 total cases (up 19 cases from yesterday), 15,756 negative tests, 7 deaths

FENTRESS – 68 remaining active cases (up 1 case from yesterday) out of 142 total cases (up 2 cases from yesterday), 2,592 negative tests

KNOX – 1,773 remaining active cases (up 44 cases from yesterday) out of 5,682 total cases (up 75 cases from yesterday), 49 fatalities, 89,662 negative tests

LOUDON – 231 remaining active cases (up 24 cases from yesterday) out of 862 total cases (up 28 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 8,809 negative tests

MCMINN – 194 remaining active cases (up 7 cases from yesterday) out of 695 total cases (up 11 cases from yesterday), 20 fatalities, 10,908 negative tests

MEIGS – 33 remaining active cases (up 2 case from yesterday) out of 134 total cases (up 3 cases from yesterday), 2 fatalities, 2,095 negative tests

MORGAN –  72 remaining active cases (up 5 cases from yesterday) out of 176 total cases (up 6 cases from yesterday), 1 death, 5,922 negative tests

OVERTON – 192 remaining active cases (up 15 cases from yesterday) out of 347 total cases (up 16 cases from yesterday), 1 fatality, 4,694 negative tests

PICKETT – 22 active cases (up 3 cases from yesterday) out of 45 total (up 2 cases from yesterday), 743 negative tests, 1 fatality

PUTNAM – 581 remaining active cases (up 32 cases from yesterday) out of 2,121 total cases (up 25 cases from yesterday), 23 fatalities, 20,780 negative tests

RHEA – 104 remaining active case (up 3 cases from yesterday) out of 612 total case (up 6 cases from yesterday), 2 deaths, 7,161 negative tests
