The following is from today’s Tennessee Department of Health COVID-19 report:

TENNESSEE – 38,158 (down 50 cases from yesterday) active cases in Tennessee out of 140,844 total cases (up 1,669 cases since yesterday)

  • 102,686 recovered (up 1,719 since yesterday)
  • 1,549 died (up 61 from yesterday)
  • 6,255 had to be hospitalized (up 99 since yesterday)
  • 1,978,409 tested (up 29,005 since yesterday)

(Deaths in counties are added to the recovered then that total is subtracted from the total cases to get an accurate number of remaining active cases)

BLEDSOE – 83 active remaining cases (down 7 cases from yesterday) of 760 total cases (up 1 case from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 5,309 negative tests

LOUDON – 207 remaining active cases (down 5 cases from yesterday) out of 834 total cases (up 6 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 8,666 negative tests

MCMINN – 187 remaining active cases (up 21 cases from yesterday) out of 684 total cases (up 24 cases from yesterday), 20 fatalities, 10,713 negative tests

MEIGS – 31 remaining active cases (down 1 case from yesterday) out of 131 total cases (up 1 case from yesterday), 2 fatalities, 2,008 negative tests

MORGAN –  67 remaining active cases (down 5 cases from yesterday) out of 170 total cases (same as yesterday), 1 death, 5,763 negative tests

OVERTON – 177 remaining active cases (up 11 cases from yesterday) out of 331 total cases (up 15 cases from yesterday), 1 fatality, 4,659 negative tests
