The following is from today’s Tennessee Department of Health COVID-19 report:

TENNESSEE – 40,245 (up 820 cases from yesterday) active cases in Tennessee out of 120,585 total cases (up 1,803 cases since yesterday)

  • 80,340 recovered (up 983 since yesterday)
  • 1,215 died (up 9 from yesterday)
  • 5,262 had to be hospitalized (up 72 since yesterday)
  • 1,683,722 tested (up 23,385 since yesterday)

(Deaths in counties are added to the recovered then that total is subtracted from the total cases to get an accurate number of remaining active cases)

ANDERSON – 264 active remaining cases (up 3 cases from yesterday) out of 676 total cases (up 8 cases from yesterday), 6 fatalities, 15,172 negative tests

BLEDSOE – 53 active remaining cases (up 4 case from yesterday) of 695 total cases (up 5 cases from yesterday), 1 fatality, 4,616 negative tests

CUMBERLAND – 173 active remaining cases (up 35 cases from yesterday) out of 450 total cases (up 38 cases from yesterday), 12,509 negative tests, 6 deaths

MCMINN – 142 remaining active cases (up 3 cases from yesterday) out of 531 total cases (up 7 cases from yesterday), 20 fatalities, 8,748 negative tests

MEIGS – 41 remaining active cases (up 2 cases from yesterday) out of 104 total cases (up 3 cases from yesterday), 1,768 negative tests

MORGAN –  61 remaining active cases (up 13 cases from yesterday) out of 118 total cases (up 15 cases from yesterday), 1 death, 4,944 negative tests

OVERTON – 78 remaining active cases (up 4 cases from yesterday) out of 180 total cases (up 5 cases from yesterday), 1 fatality, 3,924 negative tests

PICKETT – 15 active cases (same as yesterday) out of 31 total (same as yesterday), 655 negative tests, 1 fatality

PUTNAM – 475 remaining active cases (up 23 cases from yesterday) out of 1,740 total cases (up 23 cases from yesterday), 18 fatalities, 17,668 negative tests

RHEA – 121 remaining active case (up 2 cases from yesterday) out of 528 total case (up 6 cases from yesterday), 2 deaths, 5,758 negative tests

ROANE – 245 active case (up 25 cases from yesterday) out of 461 total cases (up 28 cases from yesterday), 2 fatalities, 10,527 negative tests

WHITE – 134 remaining active case (up 6 cases from yesterday) out of 281 total cases (up 8 cases from yesterday), 5 deaths, 4,665 negative tests
