A FedEx driver was arrested by Sparta police officers Friday after reports of a reckless driver came in from motorists. The vehicle operated by 27-year-old Jonathan Todd Slatton of Sparta was eventually pinned in on Highway 70 at Butler Street. Authorities say Slatton nearly causes a few accidents and had to be forcibly removed from the vehicle. He was charged with driving under the influence and taken to the White County jail.
