A two vehicle accident yesterday in Blount County left one dead and one injured. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a 1970 Chevy C10 pickup operated by 80-year-old David Buck of Alcoa was traveling on Alcoa Highway when he attempted to turn left onto Vista Road and hit an oncoming 2007 Toyota RAV4 driven by 33-year-old Peter Auger of Knoxville. Auger, who was not restrained, died from injuries sustained. Buck was not hurt. Officers say charges are pending.
