The following is from today’s Tennessee Department of Health COVID-19 report:

TENNESSEE – 26,105 (up 535 cases from yesterday) active cases in Tennessee out of 61,960 total cases (up 954 cases since yesterday)

  • 35,855 recovered (up 420 since yesterday)
  • 741 died (up 3 from yesterday)
  • 3,250 had to be hospitalized (up 57 since yesterday)
  • 1,017,498 tested (up 10,882 since yesterday)

The following counties in the coverage area report the following as of today (Sunday, July 12, 2020). Information in BOLD indicates rises in numbers:

ANDERSON – 101 active remaining cases (up 1 case from yesterday) out of 200 total cases (up 5 cases from yesterday), 2 fatalities, 9,184 negative tests

BLEDSOE –11 active remaining cases (same as yesterday) of 629 total cases (same as yesterday), 1 fatality, 3,885 negative tests

CLAY – 5 active case (down 1 case from yesterday) out of 20 total case (same as yesterday), 821 negative tests

CUMBERLAND – 72 active remaining cases (up 7 cases from yesterday) out of 221 total cases (up 8 cases from yesterday), 7,928 negative tests, 4 deaths (the 4 is subtracted from the active for an accurate count remaining)

LOUDON – 86 remaining active cases (down 5 cases from yesterday) out of 328 total cases (down 4 cases from yesterday), 2 fatalities, 4,432 negative tests

MCMINN – 100 remaining active cases (up 5 cases from yesterday) out of 284 total cases (up 8 cases from yesterday), 19 fatalities, 5,021 negative tests

MEIGS – 10 remaining active cases (same as yesterday) out of 38 total cases (same as yesterday), 1,066 negative tests

MORGAN –  11 remaining active cases (up 2 cases from yesterday) out of 32 total cases (up 1 case from yesterday), 1 death, 3,989 negative tests

OVERTON – 16 remaining active cases (up 1 case from yesterday) out of 73 total cases (up 1 case from yesterday), 1 fatality, 2,381 negative tests

PICKETT – 1 active case (same as yesterday) out of 6 total (same as yesterday), 511 negative tests

PUTNAM – 297 remaining active cases (up 8 cases from yesterday) out of 1,019 total cases (up 8 cases from yesterday), 7 fatalities, 11,322 negative tests
