A recent vehicle accident on Sparta Highway in Crossville close to the airport left three hurt. The report released today states a 2014 Chevy Cruze operated by 21-year-old Alexandra Linares of Murfreesboro was waiting to turn onto Howard Springs Road when she was rear ended by a 2016 Mazda MX3 driven by 28-year-old Jonathon Nielsen of Crossville. The impact sent the Mazda off the highway and came to rest near a tree line. Nielsen and two passengers in the Chevy, 76-year-old Rosa Linares and 53-year-old Cristian Linares, were all taken to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
