HIGH SPEED PURSUIT STARTING IN CROSSVILLE ENDS WITH ARREST OF PIPPIN

A recent high speed pursuit that started in Crossville ended with an arrest. Police observed a vehicle with no visible registration on Sparta Highway near Highland Square Shopping Center. The officer attempted to pull over 28-year-old Zachary Seth Pippin of Sparta when Pippin reportedly took off. The chase reached speeds of 110 m.p.h. and ended when the suspect pulled over after passing the airport. Pippin was arrested for reckless endangerment, evading arrest and driving on a suspended license.
