A Cumberland County deputy recently observed an occupied vehicle parked at a store on Peavine Road after hours. The report states the officer saw an uncapped syringe next to 44-year-old Joshua Eric Pugh of Crossville and another one in his hand once he got out of the car. The syringes contained a liquid Pugh supposedly said was Opana. A 10-year-old child was sitting in the vehicle in close proximity to the drug paraphernalia. Pugh was arrested for child abuse and possession of a Schedule II drug.
