TWO ESCAPE INJURY IN SINGLE VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON I-40 IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a single vehicle accident on I-40 in Cumberland County yesterday. A 2017 Nissan Rouge operated by 49-year-old Alicia Smith of Crossville was heading east at the 306 mile marker when the vehicle hydroplaned in heavy rain. The car left the road and hit a tree. No injuries were reported to Smith and a 14-year-old passenger.
