THIRD VEHICLE ACCIDENT TAKES PLACE IN A WEEK IN FRONT OF WALMART IN ROCKWOOD

For the third time in a week, Rockwood police and medics responded to Highway 27 at the entrance to Walmart for a vehicle accident. Officers say a Toyota driven by an individual from Michigan turned off of the highway and into the path of car driven by Hillard Hardy III of Harriman. A third car also was impacted as it was stopped at the light. An injury report was not initially available. Numerous complaints to the city state the red signals at the scene are very weak and hard to see during sunlight and need to be replaced with brighter lights.
