WAYNE COUNTY, KENTUCKY WOMAN ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TENNESSEE

A Wayne County, Kentucky woman is facing charges stemming from recent burglaries in northern Cumberland County, Tennessee. The arrest report states the homeowner confronted 43-year-old Joy Marie Bartley of Monticello after Bartley allegedly loaded her vehicle with items not belonging to her. Bartley reportedly burglarizing a second home next door. She fled the scene after the confrontation with the homeowner. Officers were able to track her. Fentress County deputies transported Bartley to the county line where Cumberland County officers took her into custody for aggravated burglary, theft of property and vandalism. Bartley was taken to jail and placed under bonds totaling $12,500.
