ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING IN ROCKWOOD LEAVES A MAN INJURED

(DEVELOPING STORY) – An accidental shooting in Rockwood today left a man injured. Rockwood Police Chief Bill Stinnett said the incident happened at the Roane Vape Shop off of Highway 27. Chief Stinnett said two men were looking at a pistol inside the business when the gun discharged striking one man in his 60’s in the ankle. He was transported to Methodist Medical Center by ambulance for treatment. A full report of the incident, including the identity of the one shot, will be released at a later time.
