FLOOD ADVISORY ISSUED FOR EMORY RIVER INVOLVING MORGAN AND ROANE COUNTIES

The National Weather Service has issued a FLOOD ADVISORY for the Emory River at Oakdale affecting Morgan and Roane counties. Heavy rain by this evening will produce sharp rises on area rivers and streams.

* At 10 a.m. this morning, the stage of the Emory River was 4.4 feet.

* Action stage is 12.0 feet.

* Flood stage is 27.0 feet.

* The river will rise to near 23.9 feet by tomorrow morning (Monday, April 13, 2020).
