A narcotics investigation in Fentress County resulted in the arrest of two women. Officers served a search warrant at a residence in Clarkrange and reportedly found approximately 52 grams of meth located in different location throughout the home. Authorities say the meth was individually packaged for resale in different weight increments.
Along with the meth, officers allegedly found 2 loaded handguns, a small amount of marijuana, acid, several Xanax pills, multiple scales (for weighing narcotics), pipes, drug paraphernalia and $1,600 in cash.
Officers charged 54-year-old Sylvia R. Rector and 55-year-old Shawnda L. Rector of Clarkrange with possession of meth with intent to resale, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a Schedule I and IV drug for resale, simple possession of a Schedule VI drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
They are both being held at the Fentress County jail on $100,000 bond.
