The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is searching for a missing juvenile.

Officers responded yesterday to Thomas Walker Park in Barbourville attempting to locate a 16-year-old boy who ran away from his grandparent into a wooded area.

KSP did not release the male’s name, but said he stands 6 foot 3 inches tall, weighs 185 pounds, medium build, with brown hair and eyes, and has a scar on his left check. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

The juvenile is not from Knox County, Kentucky and was on a visit when he ran away.

Anyone with information is asked to call KSP at (606) 573-3131.
