TWO ANDERSON COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS PASS AWAY

Anderson County is mourning the loss of two of their law enforcement officers.

Officials say 62-year-old Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputy Robert Rhyne Jr. passed away Friday at the age of 62. Rhyne was also a chaplain for the Clinton Police Department and the pastor at Lakeview Baptist Church.

Rocky Top Police Officer Richard Foschino passed away Saturday after a battle with lung cancer at the age of 72. Foschino previously served with the Norris Police Department, Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, and Anderson County Sheriff’s Department. Foschino was also the author of several true crime books based upon actual cases he solved.
