BREAKING NEWS – The Cumberland County Rescue Squad has been dispatched close to the area of Creston Road and Fredonia Road to help three kayakers who are trapped in fast moving current. Initial reports state the three are in trees above the water. The Cumberland County Fire Department, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department and Crossville Fire Department also responded to assist in the operation. This is the second rescue operation for the Cumberland County Rescue Squad in the past 5 hours. This is a breaking news story and more information will be released at a later time.
