FENTRESS COUNTY MAN KILLED IN MULTI-FATALITY ACCIDENT IN VIRGINIA

A three vehicle accident outside of Harrisonburg, Virginia claimed the life of a Fentress County, Tennessee man. Officers say a tractor-trailer driven by 52-year-old William Allen Milam of Jamestown, Tennessee crossed the median to the southbound side of Interstate 81. The tractor-trailer was then involved in a head-on collision that claimed the lives of Milam and two other drivers at the scene, one from Virginia and the other from North Carolina. At least four others were injured. All involved were restrained. An investigation by the state police to discover the cause of the wreck is ongoing.
