TWO ESCAPE INJURY AFTER GETTING OUT OF BURNING CAR IN TIME ON HIGHWAY 27

Two escaped injury last night after they got out of a vehicle on fire in time in Rhea County. Fire department officials say the car was on fire when it hit the curb on Highway 27 near Walmart in Dayton and came to rest about 40 feet down the road. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire. The vehicle was a total loss.
